Easter Sugar Cookies decorating Ideas

Jan 17, 2024 No Comments

Sugar Cookies are just perfect for holidays. Be it Christmas or Halloween, or even Easter. Sugar Cookies define happiness for me.

And, believe it or not, I've nailed the game of sugar cookie decoration with royal icing. I've been working on it for last 7 years - to be precise - and finally, I can see myself decorating like the chefs I see on TV.

You might say, that I am being overconfident. But, I think there is no harm in being appreciative of yourself when you know you deserve it. right?

These adorable Sugar Cookies decorated with meringue based royal icing is my go to recipes for the holiday season.

And, I will teach you how to nail the game of Sugar cookie decoration with royal icing.

Easter egg cookie decorating ideas

We've making these Easter egg cookies since childhood. I remember my mom making them when I was eight for me and my sister. And, I would hide them in a jar on the attic. No body in my home knew about it. Some afternoons when I would be reading books alone all by myself, I would be having those egg cookies.

I've carried on the tradition to this day. Only difference - it's me baking those cookies.

Combine butter and sugar until in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla. Combine oats, flour, and salt.

Form 12 egg shaped cookies. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until set.

Combine the ingredients for the glaze and spoon it over the cookies.
