  1. Melted White Chocolate

Step 1: Prepare the Chocolate Pie Crust

To start, you will need to prepare the chocolate pie crust. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter to make a sticky mixture.

Once the mixture becomes nice and sticky, transfer it to an eight-inch removable base pie dish.

Use a spatula and your fingers to create smooth edges and let it sit in the freezer for 30 minutes to set perfectly.

Step 2: Create the Fake Blood Caramel Layer

Next, it's time to make the fake blood caramel layer. In a separate bowl, whisk together ingredients such as corn syrup, red food coloring, water, and a pinch of salt to make the caramel mixture.

Once it's nicely combined, simply pour this over your set chocolate pie crust. Refreeze the pie for another 30 to 40 minutes to achieve a perfectly set frozen caramel layer.

Step 3: Add the Bittersweet Dark Chocolate Layer

Now, it's time to add the bittersweet dark chocolate layer. Melt bittersweet dark chocolate and pour it over the set caramel layer.

Make sure to use really bittersweet chocolate to balance out the flavors with the extra sweet caramel layer. Even it out and freeze for another 30 minutes.

Step 4: Create the Spider Web Design

For the final touch, melt some white chocolate and transfer it into a piping bag. Draw a spider web design over the set chocolate pie crust using the piping bag.

Get creative and let your imagination run wild. This is what gives the pie its spooky spider web appearance.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!

Now comes the most exciting part: serving and enjoying the Spider Web Pie. Gently remove the pie from its base and pie dish, and it's time to cut into it.

As you slice through the pie, you will witness all the blood, also known as the caramel layer, oozing out.

It may look incredibly creepy, but don't worry, it tastes absolutely delicious. It's like finding a spider's nest hiding inside, in the form of chocolate blood.

Make It Your Own

Feel free to get creative and make this recipe your own. You can add additional toppings or decorations to enhance the spooky factor.

Consider adding gummy worms, edible insects, or even candy spiders on top. Let your imagination guide you and make this Halloween treat truly unforgettable.

This Halloween Chocolate Spiderweb Pie is a fantastic Halloween treat that is sure to impress your guests.

How to make it gluten free?

To make it gluten free you can use gluten free chocolate bicuits or just use coconut flour along with some gluten free cocoa powder and unsalted butter to make a gluten free pie crust.

How to make it vegan?

To make this Vegan you can replace with vegan butter. And replace caramel sauce with vegan caramel sauce. Vegan Caramel sauce is nothing but soaked dates which you can blend and cook over the stove top with some vegan butter to make a perfect vegan caramel sauce.

Alternatively you can replace Caramel with Coconut milk and red food color as well for a different but delicious taste. And it would still look so spooky and perfect for Halloween!

Can I make Spider Web Cheesecake?

Yes ofcourse! In fact this Spider Web Pie is very similar to that of a cheesecake recipe. You have an Oreo and butter crust along with a layer of caramel.

All you have to do is beat in some cream cheese along with the caramel and red food color and then add it to your set crust.
