How to make Halloween Fruit Platter

Apple Dentures

Cut the Apples into halves. Make a small cut in the center of the halves (on the skin side) and remove it

Top with Candy Eyes. Apply peanut butter to the center cut.

Use a banana slice coated with red candy melts or a strawberry slice to make the tongue and use Almond Slivers to make the teeths.

Banana Ghosts Sandwiches

Cut a Banana into half and cut each half into two lengthwise strips.

Add Candy Eyes and Chocolate Chips to make the eyes and mouth of these Banana "Ghosts".

Serve these as is or apply some peanut butter to a toasted bread and add the Banana Ghosts treats to it and serve.

Halloween Fruit Kabobs

Take three Bamboo Skewers and arrange the Banana Slices, Grapes and Apple slices to it, alternatively until you reach the rim.

Top with Candy Eyes and Chocolate Chips and serve

Oreo Spider Cupcakes

Apply some Strawberry Jam over a toasted Bread

Add peanut butter to an Oreo and stick it to the sliced bread. Use peanut butter to stick the candy eyes over it and use melted dark chocolate to draw the tentacles of this spider. Serve

Spooky Cockroach Cookies

Take a few homemade or store bought sugar cookies. Apply some peanut butter to pitted medjool dates. Stick it to these cookies. Stick a candy eye on top and use leftover melted dark chocolate to make the legs of this Cockroach. Serve.

Hint: I love to make this fruit platter right before I serve them or else the fruits will taste stale and start to brown if kept out for a long time.

How far advance can these Halloween snacks be made ahead?

I like to make them at least 3-4 hours ahead of time, or else the Bananas start to brown. You can make everything, cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator.
