Chocolate Ganache Frosting

When it comes to making these Easter Nest using frosting you can use a simple Chocolate Ganache Frosting or even a Chocolate Buttercream frosting.

The green grass is a simple whipped cream frosting with some green food color added to it. However you can use a buttercream frosting with green food color as well.

How long do these Easter Nest Cupcakes stay fresh?

You can store these Easter Nest Cupcakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator or in a cool place for 2-3 days.

You can alternatively freeze these cupcakes. However its best to not store frosted cupcakes.

However if you're planning to make these Easter Nest Cupcakes ahead of time, just wrap the baked and cooled cupcakes individually using a plastic wrap. Remember to thaw the cupcakes overnight in the refrigerator before you reuse them.
